Is it a match made in Heaven? Finding the right Wedding Photographer for you.

Hiring a wedding photographer is so much more than liking pretty photographs. Although it is important to love the work your photographer does, it is equally as important to make sure the person you choose to photograph your wedding is someone you trust and work well with.

Are you laid back and easy going? Outgoing and the life of the party? Is detail super important to you? Do you run a tight ship? These are all things to ask yourself when searching for the perfect photographer. Finding someone who you can work well with and that has the same values as you do is just as important as the images they produce.

A few hints to make sure you and your photographer are a good match:

1. Read through their entire website PLUS any reviews. This will give you a good idea on what they are about and what past clients have said. Beware of sites that don't have any information about the person behind the camera.

2: Request an in person or zoom meeting with them if they don’t already offer it. This will give you an idea about how they communicate and work. I strongly suggest an in person meeting with my couples, I love to meet face to face and get to know each other.

3: Use your intuition! It's really one of the most important ways we can know what is best for us specifically. Remember, you are going to be in communication and working with your photographer for more than just your wedding day, so make sure you are able to enjoy the process with someone who is a good fit for you!
